Is Clio secure?
Clio ensures strict communication security using bank-grade 256-bit SSL encryption. All of Clio's infrastructure is hosted using physically secure, managed datacenters that meet the rigid SAS70 Type II specifications. Georedundant backups are performed multiple times per day, and site security and privacy are routinely audited by respected 3rd parties, McAfee and Truste.

Can I back up and export my data out of Clio?
Clio supports data portability, and provides users with a complete export interface for backup and practice migration purposes. Any information committed to your Clio account can be retrieved, at your convenience, in non-proprietary, open formats.

Do you offer a free trial period?
Absolutely. We're happy to offer a no-risk, free 30 day trial period to all new subscribers.

We continually strive to ensure that Clio provides exceptional value and return on investment. Although the product has continually evolved and expanded since launching in 2008 our pricing has remained consistent.

We're pleased to provide unlimited free access to live training and comprehensive support resources. Our extensive knowledgebase is complete with helpful walk-throughs, short training videos and accessible answers to frequently asked questions. We are also happy to schedule additional one-on-one training as needed at no additional cost.

Can I cancel at any time?
Absolutely. Although we hope you'll find Clio is a good fit with your practice management needs, subscribers are welcomed to discontinue a subscription at any time without risk or penalty.

What is the cost?
Designed to be an affordable option for small to mid-sized firms, Clio is priced at $49/month per attorney and $25/month per non-attorney. Interested subscribers are also welcomed to contact our sales team to inquire about available offers for educational and non-profit customers.

What is the difference between the Attorney and Non-Attorney subscriptions??
To make Clio as affordable as possible, we've offered non-attorney subscribers a discounted rate of $25.00/month. Technically speaking there are no differences between the subscription classes apart from being able to designate attorney users as responsible for a matter.

Are there any incidental costs I should be aware of?
Clio's pricing has been designed to be easy to understand and free of incidental or surprise charges. Each additional attorney or support staff member can be added at a cost of $49.00/month and $25.00/month respectively. Product updates, new features, unlimited document storage and access to technical support and training is included at no additional cost.
