When you share something via Clio Connect there is a default email that is sent to the contact by Clio. You now have the ability to determine if you want to use a custom message instead when sharing a Document or Bill.
To do so, when you click on the Clio Connect icon to share a Document or Bill you will see an “Add Message” option:
When that is chosen, you are able to type in your custom message. Please note, the contact’s name and a salutation are pre-filled by default, so you don’t need to worry about typing it in:
Your contact will then see your custom message when they are notified about the shared resource by Clio
