		<description>I&#039;m surprised at the statement made here that the proposed opinion from the North Carolina Bar Association about off-site data processing represents the first in North America to study the ethics of using cloud computing or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) in a law firm. While the terminology has evolved in the past years, nevertheless, even in the proposed opinion posted on your website, a reference is made to an article posted on the the American Bar Association website setting out the history of this sort of investigation, going as far back as 1999 (see http://www.abanet.org/tech/ltrc/fyidocs/OBSethicsfyi.html).</description>
